JJ is the first Bruin out of the swim in a blistering 18:55

Following not too far behind is Chad with a 22:29 swim split

JJ is turning heads (see picture), completing the bike course in 1:09:42

But Chad has the fastest Bruin bike split: 1:07:46.

Vanesa competes in the sprint triathlon, completing the swim in 13:12 and bike in 46:22

Vanesa completes the run in 32:13, finishing with a time of 1:31:45 for 217th place overall.

JJ in the middle of a 42:28 10K.

Chad comes through the 10K in 41:35. He finishes with a time of 2:11:48, good enough for 34th overall.

JJ takes 31st in a time of 2:11:03.
